Invictus Games Vancouver Whistler 2025 Test 2

Challenge

The seventh Invictus Games, the first ever to feature winter sports, brought 534 competitors from 23 nations,125,000 spectators, and a global broadcast audience. Parlay One was engaged as the content production partner by the Games’ communications team, originally to produce social video content. There were no second takes in a moment like this; the pace was relentless, and the visibility was global.

Process

Our internal infrastructure is built to handle the demands of the Games. Hours of footage were delivered to our edit team daily at the Convention Centre daily, from venues across Vancouver and Whistler. Often we were already editing Whistler footage before our team had made it back down the mountain. Every clip featuring Prince Harry and Meghan, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, went through a rigorous asset control process, integrated directly with their communications team in London. This is an example of the careful management of participants, stakeholders, and sensitive assets our work with executives and sensitive subjects requires.

Outcome

Parlay One produced over 73 deliverables, in English and French, over 11 days. By the end of the games, our work that was initially destined for social was featured in the live closing ceremonies at Rogers Arena and for the broadcast audience around the world.
